Designing codes from lifts of graphs
Over the last decade, much research has focused on the design of graph-based codes using lifts of specially chosen base graphs. In this talk we will survey and compare several approaches of designing low-density parity-check codes from graph lifts. In particular, we will look at protograph codes, spatially coupled codes, and present some results on algebraic constructions of these families.
